AGNES Magazine
This is a school assignment. One week with coverdesign.
BRIEF
Create a cover for a fictional magazine of you're own choice, from the words - higher, bigger, stronger.
The name of the magazine have to be the girls name Agnes.
IDEA
From the three words I chose Astronomy.
To twist the subject I chose women as the target group (also because Agnes is quite feminime)
My insight in the subject was mainly from my own experience. I am fasinated by the universe and think it's so beautiful.
The problem is that the astronomy magazines you find in stores, are often filled with as much content as possible and
forgets about thebeautiful images and are not so aesthetic.
AGNES Astronomy magazine is meant to have a whole theme for every issue, for example the first issue is called
"Origin and fate of the universe" and tells about the big bang, the development of the universe and were it's heading.
It's clean, minimalistic and has beautiful images.
Issue one, "Origin and fate of the universe"
Issue two, "The revolution of our solarsystem"
Issue three, "Atlas of the stars"
The icons on the spine is astronomical symbols.
The symbols relates to the content of each issue.
